GURPURAB CELEBRATION

•  A special assembly was organised at AKSIPS -123 Smart School on the occasion of the Prakashotsav of Shri Gurunanak Dev ji, the first of the ten Sikh gurus and the founder of Sikhism. This year Guru Nanak jayanti was celebrated in school on November 7. The assembly was conducted by Shakespeare house.Poems were recited by Gurneet and Harnoor sakhiyaan by Rubal and vyakhya by Harman and Sehaj. An inter house Shabad Gayan Competition was held. The principal, Ms Anjali Singh spoke about the teachings of Guru Sahib and asked students to follow the path shown by Guru Sahib on the lines of " Vand Chhako , Kirat Karo , Naam Japo " .
