SCHEME OF ASSESSMENT, EXAMINATION, EVALUATION AND PROMOTION NORMS
CLASSES PRE-SCHOOL TO V
1. Learning in these classes is an ongoing and wholesome process. It will be assessed in a continuous comprehensive manner. The focus will be on the daily, consistent progress made by the child in academic as well as co-curricular activities.
2. The assessment procedure will be based on the child’s daily interaction in the class, his/her level of general awareness, the quality of work produced by him/her, internalization of the concepts taught during the course of classroom interaction and the consequent learning outcomes throughout the year.
Note: Progress Profile Card of the students of classes Pre-School to V will be sent online after each term. In case, a student’s performance is not upto the expected standard, it will be discussed on a one to one basis.

CO SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES
Grading will be done term-wise on a Three Point Grading Scale (A-Outstanding, B- Very Good, C- Fair) for:
· Work Education
· Art Education
· Health and Physical Education
· Discipline (To be graded by the teachers).
CLASS IX
Subjects – Language 1, Language 2, Language3 (Additional Language) Mathematics, General Science and Social Sciences, Information Technology (IT).
Criteria of Assessment – 20% Internal Assessment + 80% Final Exam
Internal Assessment includes:
• 5% Notebook Submission
• 5% Subject Enrichment Activity
• 5% Multiple Assessment
• 5% Periodic Tests
Periodic tests throughout the year will be as follows :
i) Three PTs throughout the year for 40 marks each.
Final Exam - Written exam for 80 marks with full syllabus.
CLASS X
Subjects – Language 1, Language 2, Language3 (Additional Language) Mathematics (Basic & Standard) , General Science and Social Sciences, Information Technology (IT).
Criteria of Assessment : 20% Internal Assessment + 80% Board Exam.
Internal Assessment includes:
• 5% Notebook Submission
• 5% Subject Enrichment Activity
• 5% Multiple Assessment
• 5% Best two of Periodic Tests
Periodic tests throughout the year will be as follows :
i) Three PTs throughout the year for 40 marks each.
ii) Pre-board Exam- Written exam for 80 marks with full syllabus.
iii) Final CBSE Board Exam – Written exam for 80 marks with full syllabus.
CO-SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES
(Classes IX and X)
Grading on a Five Point Scale (A – E)
1. Co-Scholastic Activities will include:
• Art Education
• Health & Physical Education (Includes Work Education)
2. Discipline (To be graded by the teachers)
3. Assessment will be done on a five point scale once in a year.
4. No upscaling of grades will be done.
