  Dear teachers’ kindly note down the following instructions which have to be followed very strictly:

  1. The reporting time for all staff members with personal vehicles is 7:45 a.m. and dispersal time is 2:15 p.m. In case a child of your respective class, who does not use school transport, is left behind you have to wait with him/her till dispersal.
  2. The first bell will be rung at 7:55 a.m. The second bell will ring at 8: 00 a.m.
  3. In case a staff member requires leave on urgent basis, he or she has to take permission from the undersigned. In case of an illness or other emergencies, call up on the school landline after 7:45 a.m. No message to be given to maids. For attending functions, one must get the leave sanctioned in advance. No leave will be given on important days of the School Calendar.
  4. Attendance on last working day before summer holidays is mandatory. Similarly, attendance on day one on reopening of school after vacation is compulsory.
  5. Kindly dress up appropriately, smartly and gracefully to the school. In case you are wearing western clothes, it should be formal trousers with a loose long upper/top. Kindly note that Jeans is a casual wear.  It can be worn only with a knee length kurta and scarf by female staff.

  6.       Under no circumstances, the class teacher / teacher will leave the class. In case of any emergency, the class teacher / teacher can call the teacher around to cover the class.

  7.       Corporal punishment (tagging, slapping, hitting, making student stand outside, passing unnecessarily negative comments or threatening to fail a child or asking a child to hit another) is not acceptable. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against the teacher found indulging in Corporal Punishment.

  8.       Every teacher is responsible for discipline.Class teachers to ensure his/her students are in proper uniform with i-card and get a regular hair cut (Non Sikh).

  9.       Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the school during the school working hours.  Disciplinary action will be taken in case one is found using mobile phone during the school hours.

        10.    Active teaching to be done in the class room and even in substitution periods. Take rounds.

        11.   Remember to wear your I card all the time in the school premises and the school transport. When visiting other schools/branches of AKSIPS and for functions it needs to be worn.

        12.  No student should be allowed outside the class room without an outpass.

        13.  Attendance must be marked carefully esp. on the App. There should not be any lapse on your part. Negligence will not be taken kindly.

        14.  Do take permission from the undersigned before calling up the parents.

        15. All teachers to use English as a medium of instructions in the classroom (except for Hindi & Punjabi subject teachers.).

        16. Notebook and book work to be checked very carefully. Read both questions & answers while correcting.

  Circular no 6–Safety Measures for Students

  Dear Parents

  Safety of our children is of paramount importance. We are doing our best to ensure it. In case of any suggestions, you are welcome to send inputs at [email protected]. or meet the undersigned during visiting hours on any working day. Please note the following points.

  1.      All buses have cameras and speed governors. They are on GPS. Every bus has a lady attendant. Parents have been provided an access to GPS.

  2.      The school has secured most of the entry, exit points and the grounds, through CCTV cameras.

  3.      The Police verification of all drivers and conductors have been done. They have their own washroom near the school gate.

  4.      There are separate washrooms for girls and boys and staff on each floor.

  5.      During the lunch break, before and after school hours, teachers are on duty on all the floors, in the corridors, near entrance, in ground and canteen area to maintain discipline.

  6.      Maids have been given the duty of being present in the corridors of the school building to ensure that no unauthorized person is found roaming about. They also ensure that no student is seen loitering in the corridor

  7.      It is requested that, unless coming by bus, students should be dropped to school not before 7: 50 a.m. in summers and 8.15 a.m. in winters as they may be unattended.

  8.      It is also requested that all parents should come to the school only after taking an appointment unless and until there is an emergency. The visiting hours are 11: 00 a.m to 12: 00 noon.  Please, do make an entry at the gate in a legible handwriting..

  9.      In the afternoon, gates will open only at 2: 00 p.m  in summers and 2.15 p.m  in winters for parents who come to collect their wards. Kindly do not come early.

  10.  A redressal committee has been made. You can ask your ward to contact the members in case of any issues.

  11.  No outsider is allowed beyond the reception area.

  12.  Classrooms and main doors will be opened for students only 10 minutes before the starting of the school.

  As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe  environment, we are hereby prohibiting the use of sharp objects in the school, effective immediately. This includes, but is not limited to:

  - Scissors

  - Staplers and pins

  - Knives

  - Razors

  - Any other object with a sharp edge or point

   

  Compass may be brought only when the teacher instructs to bring .

  The use of these objects pose a significant risk of injury to oneself and others, and we cannot tolerate any behaviour that compromises the safety of our students.

  We encourage  to explore alternative methods and tools that do not involve the use of sharp objects.

  On Independence Day, 15-08-2024(Thursday) only students participating in the Independence Day celebration have to come to school from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. The buses will ply on their regular route for students availing the bus facility.

   

  The school will remain closed for all the classes (III to X)  on 16-08-2024, if declared a holiday by the Punjab Government. The school office shall also remain closed on 16.08.24

   

  On the request of parents, 17.08.2024(Saturday) will be a holiday for all classes.  31.08.2024 (Last Saturday ) will be a regular working day for all classes in lieu of 17.08.2024.
